David Chang: Restaurants May Not Survive Pandemic

David Chang, the well-known chef and restauranteur of Momofuku Noodle Bar fame, isn't known for keeping his mouth shut — especially in his kitchens and especially now that the COVID-19 crisis is endangering restaurants all across America

In a candid interview with The New York Times Magazine, he unloads on Trump, the federal response to coronavirus, and the very precarious state of the industry.

"It’s as if aliens came from outer space and decided to totally destroy restaurants," he says.
